Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Muzica mobile application, website, and related services (together, “Muzica”, “we”, “us”, or “the App”). By installing, accessing, or using Muzica, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The service
Muzica lets you search for songs and playlists, save a personal library, stream audio, optionally download songs for offline listening on your device, identify nearby music, and share playlist links. Muzica is provided free of charge and may change, add, or remove features over time.
Music search and playback depend on third-party catalog and media services. Muzica does not own those recordings and is not affiliated with those providers. Their availability, quality, and terms are outside our control.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Muzica. If you use the App on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
Guest use and accounts
You can try Muzica without creating an account. Guest use is limited. Without an account you may keep one playlist with up to 10 songs, and listen to 10 songs every 24 hours. Signing in unlocks the full library and listening experience.
Optional sign-in uses an email code and a recovery code. Keep your recovery code private. Anyone with that code may restore your library. You can delete your account in Settings. That permanently removes the account and its backup from our servers and wipes the matching library on this device. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being used in a way that harms the service or other people.
License to use Muzica
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Muzica on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial listening. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, sell, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law.
Your library and shared playlists
Playlists and settings you create belong to you. By using backup or share features, you give us permission to store and display that content as needed to provide the service (for example, restoring a library or showing a shared playlist page).
Shared playlist links may be opened by anyone who has the link. Do not share a playlist if you do not want it to be public. You are responsible for the content you save and share.
Third-party music and other services
Search, streaming, lyrics, song identification, and related features may send requests to third-party catalog, media, and identification services. Those providers have their own terms and policies. Your use of their content is subject to those terms as well as these Terms.
Audio you play or download is for personal, non-commercial listening on your device. You may not use Muzica to copy, redistribute, sell, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit music in a way that infringes someone else’s rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Muzica for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the App, our servers, or other people’s use of Muzica
- Attempt to bypass guest limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Scrape, bulk-download, or automate access to the catalog beyond normal app use
- Misrepresent that Muzica is affiliated with any third-party music service
- Upload or share content you do not have the right to share
Availability and changes
We provide Muzica “as is”. Playback, search, identification, backup, and downloads may fail, be delayed, or be unavailable because of network conditions, device settings, or third-party services. We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Muzica will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that specific songs will remain available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muzica and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or playback interruptions, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to Muzica will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim (which is currently zero, because the App is free).
Some places do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limits above apply only as far as the law allows.
Privacy
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Muzica you also acknowledge that policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
